CHILDREN and parents at Musical Minis sessions have a lot of laughs singing along and tapping out their versions of tunes to some favourite ditties.
I thought it could be fun to look into the origins of some of our best known tunes. I'd like to know - what's your family's favourite and why? Once I have some feedback, I will research where these timeless favourites come from.
Is there a particular lyric that makes you smile, or even one that makes you a little scared? (I know I used to wonder why on earth everyone was falling down in Ring O' Roses!)
Please comment below, your replies will help me decide which ones to look into first!
Thanks for reading.
Now you have written that I can't get Ring O Roses out of my head! Thanks for that.

My boys are older so it will take some thinking!

We're singing 'London Bridge is falling down' at lot this week and my 4-year-old has tons of questions about whether the brigde did really fall down, did anyone get hurt, when did it happen (when the dinosaurs were alive?). Answers please Linda!
